Born and raised in Langley, Reece studied science at University of the Fraser Valley, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While initially studying to become a medical doctor, Reece started work in the field of supportive care as a support worker for adults with disabilities, which led to supporting children and youth with autism in education. Through his experience, Reece quickly discovered his passion for working with and supporting youth with unique challenges. Outside of work, Reece is an avid musician who plays multiple instruments, playing guitar and singing professionally. Performing under the moniker ‘Daniel Reece’, Reece has written, recorded, and produced his own music with two singles out on streaming platforms. Some of Reece’s other hobbies include playing tennis, biking, hiking, and playing chess.
